Waqt is designed with your privacy as a core principle. We believe your spiritual practice is deeply personal, and your data should stay that way.
Waqt does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. We have no servers and no database of user information.
Your location is used solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your area. Location data is stored only on your device and is never sent to any server. You can manually set your location at any time.
When you listen to Quran recitation, audio is streamed from cdn.islamic.network. This is the only external network call the app makes. No personal data is sent with these requests.
All your data — prayer logs, reading progress, bookmarks, fasting records, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. Nothing leaves your phone.
Waqt uses an App Group to share prayer time data between the app and its widgets. This communication happens entirely on your device and does not involve any network activity.
Waqt does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no SDKs collecting your data in the background.
If we ever update this policy, changes will be reflected in the app and on this page. Given our commitment to privacy, we do not anticipate significant changes.
